Older networks built in congested multi-operator routes are prone to service downtime. Our UK network is the newest legacy-free national duct and optical fibre network in the country, making us much more reliable than all our rivals. It covers 3,000km of the country and connects all the major commercial centres. In addition, we have built some of the UK’s largest new optical fibre networks and are continually delivering major infrastructure projects to our customers. Further, through our extensive relationships with other asset owners, we are able to deliver end to end optical fibre platforms to all our customers. In some ways this makes us a “Super VNO” – combining all the advantages and expertise in optical fibre from the owner of the UK’s newest and highest quality network with the ability of a “virtual network operator” to extend our reach anywhere in the country.

We deploy high-quality G.655 fibre on backbone network routes and G.652 fibre in urban centres: the most modern fibre technology available to carry the highest data rates as cost effectively as possible. Unlike any other data network provider, every single one of Geo’s customers benefits from all the advantages of having its own dedicated optical fibre, co-location space and equipment.

Geo's fibre assets are extremely robust. Our UK network tracks the national gas mains pipeline, making it deeper and more secure than other data network infrastructure. Our London network runs through the sewer system, giving us highly secure, diverse access throughout the city.

Finally, we differentiate ourselves through our focus on the delivery of high quality tailor-made solutions for our customers. Geo does not follow the herd. We do not choose a technology to deliver data network services and offer it in the hope it will match our customers’ requirements. Instead, we consult with our customers to determine exactly what they need – and then work with them to design and deliver a solution which meets these requirements.
