Geo.Metro – giving you more choice

Geo.Metro provides 1 Gigabit - 10 Gigabit Ethernet services or bespoke optical fibre networks for London businesses and organisations that can't afford the costs and risks associated with data network downtime.

Geo.Metro gives you more choice. It's a 1Gbps or 10Gbps Ethernet or fibre-only service, available within the M25 area. Like all our offerings, each link is built on a dedicated basis – no telephone exchanges or electronics in the middle – meaning higher reliability and reduced downtime for upgrades and routine works. This approach makes it simple to upgrade from 1Gb to 10Gb or unlimited use

Geo.Metro is secure. Unlike most of the city's networks which share trenches, Geo.Metro fibre runs along entirely separate routes, making it physically diverse and resilient.

Geo.Metro is robust. Most London networks sit just a metre beneath the surface, prone to the constant accidents and disruption that affect a busy capital's infrastructure. Geo.Metro fibre runs between 3 and 15 metres below street level – well out of the way of roadworks and the maintenance activities of other providers. To date Geo Metro has had only one outage in the past 4 years which is unprecedented in the industry

Geo.Metro is legacy free. As a brand new network, we are not constrained by last generation equipment, restrictions on co-location space, power or upgrading. Planned and unplanned increased network capacity is easily accessible.

Geo.Metro saves you time and money. Because the tunnels we use are already in place, dig costs are far lower and administrative delays of local authority regulations are avoided. What's more, Geo.Metro has a unique long lease pricing structure that delivers significantly lower opex than other providers.
