Geo Presents on 'The Rise and Implications of Content Delivery in the Data Centre'

London, United Kingdom, 22 March 2007, Geo, a Hutchison Whampoa company and leading provider of bespoke fibre networks, today announced that it will be presenting on ‘The Rise and Implications of Content delivery in the Data Centre’ at Data Centres Europe, at 5.10pm on Thursday 22nd March 2007, at the Millennium Hotel in London Mayfair.

The event, which is in its 3rd year, will address the challenges and opportunities facing Data Centres, as they continue to experience a sustained boom in demand and record growth levels. With a particular emphasis on the enterprise user, the conference will also seek to articulate evidence for continued growth and assess the consequences in terms of technology requirements and investment, as regulation increasingly encroaches on data centre activity.

As part of the programme, Geo’s Director of Operations & Development, Mike Ainger, will participate in a panel session to debate the rise and implications of content delivery in the Data Centre. The panel session will cover:

- The emerging demand for content delivery
- Realtime optimal performance
- The most important features for data centres in provisioning content delivery
- The role of mobile content delivery for wireless Service Providers
- The impact that social networking will have on the market
